We have an opportunity for an innovative, passionate and engaged individual to join our production team for live and digital events. The Event Producer is a hands-on role which will lead the production of a wide variety of strategic corporate events, including business meetings, conferences, incentive programs and product launches – digital and eventually live events. The scope of projects will include both small intimate productions to large scale events with multiple elements. Our ideal candidate has a passion for creating events that connect and inspire audiences, is technically savvy with an eye for creativity and a curious mind with a go-getter personality, superior organizational skills, flexibility, ability to thrive in a high pressure environment and excellent verbal/written communication skills.


  • Work closely with the creative team, audiovisual partners, studio broadcast, and post-production teams to ensure effective execution of flawless virtual and live events, on budget and within identified timelines
  • Translate client needs into innovative live production applications, ensuring that solutions are on target, and support strategic communication principles within the virtual or live context
  • Ensure an innovative and strategic approach to applying mobile, virtual, and media applications within live event environments
  • Consult and develop client virtual and live event pitches, while understanding the principles of different platform solutions in tandem with Wynford’s broadcast solution
  • Develop key project elements: costings, show agendas/showflows, workback schedules/critical path, technical specs, content briefings, proofing and verifying content
  • Lead onsite teams and crews
  • Project administration
  • Create and adhere to any new processes within the virtual event offering
  • Research new technologies and emerging virtual solutions
  • Research & curate a current music database
  • Attend & Host speaker onboarding calls to support external presenters with technology and speaker coaching
  • Organize and maintain the schedule of all staff assigned to projects and studio space required
  • Design and layout pre-show information and graphics
  • Initiate follow up activities post show, to ensure continuous improvement including the preparation of reports, debriefs, and the close out all billing details

Skills and Attributes

  • Experience in event production
  • Possesses strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and remain calm under pressure
  • Self-starter who embraces challenges and is flexible when priorities change
  • High sense of urgency, and high calibre customer service
  • Has proven competency with Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Word and Excel & G-Suite; experience with a video editing and audio editing software is a benefit
  • Comfortable presenting ideas to internal and external audiences
  • Understands technology and can easily adapt between Windows and MAC
  • Creatively curious
  • Adopts a continuous learning approach to the understanding of emerging technologies in multimedia, technical staging, video production, live talent,
    virtual event platforms, and basic principles of broadcasting
  • Has a great sense of humour, low ego and high confidence
  • Upbeat, friendly, and positive in even the most challenging of situations
  • Has experience working cross-functionally, with the ability to build strong relationships quickly
  • Is detail-oriented and takes pride in the presentation and accuracy of their work
  • Possesses a strong sense of personal responsibility and reliability, with the desire to work as an integral member of a team
